An educationist, Prof. Mohammad Bilyaminu has tasked Parents and guardian to be up and doing toward the academic excellence of their children while at school and at home.
Bilyaminu, Chairman, parent teachers association (PTA), Sani Yahaya memorial school, made the call at the school’s 3rd speech and price given day celebration over the weekend.
The Chairman in his speech dwelt on the need for parents to be more alive to their responsibility and complement teachers’ commitment towards the successful upbringing of sound generations.
He pointed out that “A tree cannot make a forest, they must be a synergy and collective effort in both side to achieve the set goals“.
Also speaking, the board of trustees chairman of the school, professor MK Atiku, highlighted the importance of Islamic and western education in building and shaping the horizon of children against any challenges.
He therefore, called on government and other stakeholders to do the needful in boosting the level of education from total collapse, adding that no meaningful development could be achieved without solid foundation of education from the grassroots.
Ealier in his remark, the Director of the school, Alh. Habibu Sani Yahaya applauded the parents, guardian and all other stakeholders in running the affairs of the school for their unwavering commitment which helps the school to achieve more academic excellence within the six years of its existence and hope the tempo would be sustained in order to keep the flag flying.
