Kano witnessed an unprecedented political rally held by the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

The rally was much bigger than those held in Kaduna and Plateau states as millions of people from all walks of life turned out to show their support for Tinubu. Credit must be given to organising team headed by the Kano State Deputy Gobernatorial candidate, Murtala Sule Garo.

The capacity crowd was so big that a 500-meter distance took the Presidential candidate and his entourage three hours to make.

Women and youths of voting ages made up the majority of the crowd, with people coming from various destinations to show their solidarity. Football fields that were expected to be packed with people were instead left empty as the people gathered to back their Presidential choice.

The rally was an important demonstration of the support Tinubu has in the state as he looks to become Nigeria’s next president. The massive gathering on the streets is bigger than the one at the stadium, as people waited for more than five hours to hear from him.

Those who spoke before Asiwaju took the opportunity to address the crowd, thanking them for their support and telling them of plans by their candidate to improve the lives of all Nigerians. And of course the plan to create more jobs and to make sure the country is secured and stable. Kano state as an economic hub will receive many projects that will boost the local economy.

The enthusiasm of the people reflected the enthusiasm of the APC party in the state.

And When it was the turn of Asiwaju to speak, overwhelmed by massive support he receives in kano, the president in the waiting uttered only four words ” I want to dance”.
What else is there to do but the dance of victory, for surely kano state belongs to Asiwaju in the Presidential elections.
