A Kano based female politician, Honorable Maryam Sani Kamsaf has hailed the Northeast over the replacement of APC national chairman, Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.
According to her, the significant and firm position by the region resulted in the replacement of Ganduje describing it a “notable shift”.
Kamsaf, expressed hope the change brings about positive progress while also congratulating the Northwest in advance, optimistic for something bigger.
The National Chairman of the Ruling Party, APC, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, suddenly announced his resignation yesterday on health grounds.
He reportedly submitted his resignation letter to the APC National Secretary, Senator Ajibola Basiru, on Friday in Abuja.
The Deputy National Chairman, North, of the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC, Alhaji Bukar Dalori, has therefore emerged as the acting National Chairman of the party.
Sources within the party ascribed his resignation to issues of zoning of the office of the vice president in the next election.
