Some Major National News Papers (National Dailies) have been caught in the act of reporting unconfirmed News on Wednesday.
In a haste to break the news both Daily Trust and Leadership News Papers reported the death of a Nollywood Actor, Junior Pope.
The News as first seen on the two giant papers reported that the actor lost his life along side three other persons after their boat capsized in a river in Anambra State on their way to a movie location.

However, the Actor, Pope has been confirmed to be alive and receiving medical care in a hospital.
In what could be described as an embarrassment, the Daily Trust News shortly deleted the published report about the demise of the actor.

As of the time of filing this report the Leadership Paper is yet to delete its own post.
Videos seen by this medium and family source confirms the said actor is still alive.
The other victims’ identities are yet to be revealed.
The need for substantiating a report before going to the press is once again re-echoed.
