The Nollywood actor, Junior Pope whose news of death caused controversy yesterday in the media space has been confirmed dead.
His death was confirmed by the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Emeka Rollas via Instagram post.
Recalled that Blazon News Nigeria earlier reported how some Media outlets reported his death even before a certified medical personnel confirmed so which one of such reports was later retracted.
Earlier, Rollas reacting on the incident, took to Instagram to announce that the actor was revived and was receiving treatment in a hospital.
Also, some videos seen by this medium making the rounds on social media show that the actor was later revived.
Unfortunately, Emeka Rollas during the early hours of Thursday, again took to his Instagram page to announce the eventual death of the actor and another of his colleagues.
“It is so so sad that our joy was shortlived.
“My first post was out of excitement when we noticed his tingling fingers. Two notable hospitals tried their best to revive him but to no avail.
“God knows the best. We finally lost him”, he confirmed.
