A young graduate of Auchi Polytechnic, Edo State, Ruth Otabor has lost her lifer after she was hit by a truck belonging to the Dangote Group Company.
Ruth was struck by the heavy duty vehicle on the 13th of August 2025 in Edo State barely six days after her graduation but gave up the ghost Sunday after battling to stay alive.
Otabor’s family solicitors Eko and Advocates confirmed the death in a statement signed by one justice Segun Ojienoh who put the time of the death at at about 06:30hrs Sunday.
However, a swift response, the Dangote Group has commiserated with the Atabor’s family over the unfortunate demise of their daughter.
The Group regretted that despite efforts to save her life since the incidence by ensuring all medical bills were fully paid by the company and a plan to fly her to India, Ruth died at her prime.
The Management prayed for her departed soul while reiterating their resolve to strengthening safety measures among others.
