Kano state government said efforts are underway for production of drugs and other medical consumables for state owned hospitals.
The Director, Drugs and Supply, Drugs and Medical Consumables Supply Agency, DMCSA who spoke on behalf of the Agency’s Director General, Parm. Gali Sule, made this known during an interview with Blazon News Nigeria to highlight the agency’s achievements for the 2025 second quarter.

According to him, the state now records over ninety-six point six percent (96.6%) increase of drugs and medical consumables across the state hospitals.
Ibrahim attributed the steady increase to the determination of the state government under, Alh. Abba Kabir Yusuf who has demonstrated keen interest in the health sector of the state.
He assured the public of sustained and improved services as the agency begins production and testing drugs’ quality soon.
