MTN Nigeria has announced customers in some state might experience service disruption in some parts of the Country, Saturday.
In a press release made available to Blazon News Nigeria by the Company, said this is as a result of a scheduled network maintenance aimed at permanently restoring a previously damaged fiber infrastructure along the AFCOT – Bawo village route in Adamawa State.
Blazon News Nigeria reports that a total of 101 sites spread across 15 LGAs across Adamawa, Kano and Borno State will be affected during the maintenance expected to last for two hours between 6: Am to 8 :AM.
Areas affected in Kano are, Nasarawa LGA,
Adamawa State: Girei, Song, Mubi North, Hong, Gombi, Fufore, Mubi South, Madagali, Michika, Maiha, Chibok and Yola North LGA
While in Borno State: Askira/UBA and Shani LGA.
The information further added that the maintenance will involve cutting over traffic to a newly installed fiber infrastructure. “This upgrade is necessary to eliminate damaged fiber spans and improve overall network stability.
