Federal Law maker representing Rano, Kibiya and bunkure Constituency, Rt. Hon. Kabiru Alhasan Rurum has prayed for accepted sacrifices at Ramadan.
The lawmaker in a statement Saturday felicitated with the Muslim Umma for this year’s Ramadan praying the holy month brings peace, mercy, and immense blessings into their lives.
Rurum who extend his heartfelt Ramadan Mubarak wishes to the entire Muslim Ummah, particularly his beloved constituents in Rano, Kibiya, and Bunkure, as well as the good people of Kano State and Nigeria at large said it is a period of deep spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and increased devotion to Almighty Allah.
“Ramadan is a period of deep spiritual reflection, self-discipline, and increased devotion to Almighty Allah. It is a time to strengthen our faith, seek forgiveness, and engage in acts of kindness and generosity towards one another. As we embark on this journey of fasting and prayer, may our sacrifices be accepted and rewarded abundantly.
Fasting during Ramadan teaches us patience, self-restraint, and empathy for the less privileged. It reminds us of the struggles faced by those who go without food daily, inspiring us to extend a helping hand to those in need. Let us use this month as an opportunity to demonstrate love, charity, and compassion within our communities.
As we recite the Holy Qur’an and observe Taraweeh prayers, may we find enlightenment and renewed commitment to living righteous lives. The teachings of Ramadan should not only guide our actions during this month but should remain with us throughout the year, shaping us into better individuals and strengthening the bonds of unity among us.
I urge all my fellow Muslims to take advantage of this blessed period to seek nearness to Allah through increased supplications, acts of worship, and sincere repentance. May our prayers be answered, and our sins forgiven. Let us also remember our country in our prayers, asking Allah for peace, stability, and prosperity.
In these challenging times, when many are faced with economic hardship, let us share the little we have with our neighbors, family, and the less privileged. A small act of kindness can go a long way in bringing relief to someone in need. The spirit of Ramadan calls for togetherness and solidarity.
Furthermore, I encourage our youths to use this holy month as an opportunity for personal growth and self-improvement. Abstaining from negative influences, engaging in beneficial activities, and seeking knowledge will not only enrich our lives but also contribute to the betterment of society.
Our dear mothers, sisters, and wives, who make great sacrifices in ensuring our families have nourishing meals for Suhoor and Iftar, deserve our appreciation. May Allah bless their efforts and grant them ease in their endeavors. Their dedication and patience are truly commendable.
As we gather for Iftar and prayers, let us remember the importance of maintaining peace and harmony in our communities. Ramadan is a time to mend broken relationships, forgive past grievances, and embrace unity. May Allah guide our hearts towards love and understanding.
I also call on our political leaders and those in positions of authority to uphold justice and fairness in their dealings. Leadership is a trust, and we must use our positions to serve the people with sincerity and fear of Allah. May this Ramadan inspire us all to lead with wisdom and integrity.
Let us not forget our brothers and sisters facing hardship in different parts of the world. May Allah grant them relief, ease their suffering, and bless them with better days ahead. Our prayers and support should extend beyond our immediate environment to those in need globally.
As the crescent moon marks the beginning of this blessed month, may Allah grant us good health, strength, and faith to complete our fasts successfully. May He accept our Ibadah and make us among those who will witness Laylatul Qadr, the Night of Power, and reap its immense rewards.
On behalf of myself, my family, and my entire team, I wish you all a peaceful, fulfilling, and spiritually uplifting Ramadan. May Allah shower His mercy upon us and grant us the grace to celebrate Eid in good health and happiness”, he stated.
