There is ongoing tension in the ancient city of Kano state as security personnel barricade Emir Sanusi Lamido’s palace on Friday.
The barricade this medium learnt was to prevent the a ceremony by the Emir leading to a takeover of the Kofar Kudu entrance by security officials.
Supporters of the emir have taken over the street around the area preventing motorists from plying the route while attacking those who refused to turn back.
Blazon News Nigeria observed hoodlums pouring insults on the security men threatening to mobilize and return for possible confrontations.
