Dr. Yusuf Gawuna, Kano APC gubernatorial candidate, has expressed confidence that his party, the ruling APC will win the next month elections in Kano.
Gawuna made the disclosure Ina live program for the Tinubu/Shetima Northwest Presidential Campaign Launching aired by Radio Kano.
Dr. Gawuna said from the way APC political activities are going the party would emerged victorious after the elections, saying “I am optimistic that from the way the party is conducting its political campaign, victory is on our side.
“I am confident that our team in Kano will win the election at all levels. I believe that Allah gives power to whoever he wants and I hope and pray that APC will win election in the state.
My appeal to the people of Kano is that they should conduct themselves during the election so that we will have peaceful election,” he said.
Gawuna expressed optimism that Kano people ensure that the visit of the APC Presidential Candidate, Mr. Bola Ahmed Tinubu was peaceful.
“Kano people are known for honoring their guests. I hope they will equally honor Tinubu.
He thanked the people of the state for honoring the invitation extended to them by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje to attend the APC Presidential Campaign launching for Northwest,” he said.
