The Kano APC Deputy Governor Candidate, Alh. Sule Garo has assured the people of the state that their administration will improve on and continue, developmental projects initiated by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
Garo who made the revelation in Kano yesterday noted that, Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje has done well in the areas of human development and his administration and Dr. Yusuf Gawuna will not relent in improving the lives of the people by ensuring that such initiatives are never abandoned.
He stressed that education, agriculture, health, infrastructure and empowerment, are some of the major sectors their administration will focus on if given the mandate to lead comes 2023.
“Our main focus when we become victorious in the affairs of leadership of our dear State, Kano is to focus on human developmental projects.
As you are aware, his Excellency has already established free and compulsory education from primary school to tertiary education, we would continue in that direction”.
“We are targeting to have a befitting health facility at least in each of the 484 political wards in the state as soon as possible because of the importance of the sector.
We also intend to prioritize the agricultural sector, as you are aware, Kano has a vast land for agricultural practices with over 60 percent of it’s people depending on the sector.
We plan to bring in modern machines to assist our farmers through mechanized farming which we believe would boost their productions and ease the processes, Sule added.
The Grassroot politician who expressed optimism in the forthcoming elections affirmed that the Gawuna/Sule Garo administration will build on the legacies of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje especially in the area of infrastructures, particularly, the rural roads.
“Through the Karkara salamualaikum program, we would ensure each and every local government in the state has standard road networks.
We would ensure all the 44 LGAs in the state are accessable and connected to each other to ease movements”.
He further stated that youth would be empowered to become self dependent through the acquisition of skills in various fields of endeavors to combat unemployment.
“Government alone cannot employ all the youth we have in the state as such, we would mobilize and put in motion, youth empowerment schemes where the youth would be taught various skills to become self dependent.
We asure the good people of Kano that we would continue to execute all the developmental projects initiated by the present administration in the state”, Sule assured.
