The Managing Director, Nigeria Film Corporation, Ali Nuhu in collaboration with NABEEN Textiles on Friday donated foodstuffs, drugs and other essential items to Nassarawa children’s home in Kano.
In an interview with Newsmen on Friday, in Kano, Ali Nuhu in partnership with NABEEN Textiles reiterated that it is good to Champion a course in helping and bettering the lives of children.
“We felt it is only right for us to Champion a course in bettering the lives of children in the aspect of their education.”
We found out that a lot of children are out of school and there is a learning crisis across the country which needs to be addressed.”
The Managing director urges the government, parents and society to come together and Champion the course of helping children.
“All hands have to be on deck. The government, children’s parents and influential people in the society have to come together to help in Championing the course.”
“We are donating some food items, medicines, some essential needs and a cash sum of five hundred Naira.”
He calls on society to emulate what they are doing as a lot of families can hardly carter for their children’s needs.
As a way of paying back to society, NABEEN Textiles promised to give a certain percentage of their sales to help the less privileged in society.
In a remark, the Director, of the child unit, Hajia Aisha Gezawa thanked the donors and called on other people as well as philanthropists to collaborate with them and help the children in the Orphanage.
