The People Democratic Party Presidential Candidate, Alh. Atiku Abubakar, Thursday in Kano, promised to restore security and bring to an end, the ongoing border closure by the current APC government.
Atiku, during a mega rally at Sani Abacha Kofar Mata Stadium, urged the people of the state to vote the PDP from top to bottom in the forthcoming elections for overall positive changes in the affairs of the country.
“Dear People of Kano state if you were asked what you have been experiencing under the APC government would you honestly say the country has witnessed any positive development”?
“If you want security and agricultural prosperity restored”.
“If you want the borders shut by APC government re-opened. I urge you to vote our party in all the coming elections for restoration and development’.
The PDP Presidential Candidate overwhelmed with joy by the site of the crowd, described himself as one of the sons of the state who would work assiduously towards the security and economic revival of the state and Nigeria at large.
Earlier, the Wazirin of Adamawa commissioned a 500 Capacity Quranic College at Gunduwawa town in Gezawa local government area of the state, constructed by the Senator representing Kano Central, Malam Ibrahim Shekarau.
The 500 Capacity Quranic College named after Shekarau’s grand mother, Gwani Mammadu Dan Gunduwawa will accommodate 250 male and 250 female students at a time for a six months program.
He applauded Senator Shekara’u for initiating the project Which will play vital role in promoting Islamic education.
Shekara’u thanked the Wazirin Adamawa noting that, he is he is always committed to providing dividends of democracy through projects that will touch the lives of the people including the generation yet unborn.
