The Emir of Kano, Mahammadu Sanusi II has charged Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano state to henceforth exercise government might on anyone who jeopardizes or undermines his Authority.
The Emir who spoke during a courtesy visit to the governor on the occasion of Eid- Al Adha on Friday said it’s high time the governor crushes those who stood against him.
“While we commend you for your meek and gentle nature as well as tolerance, I must charge you to wake up now and show your government Might on those who disrespect your authority.
You must crush anyone who stands against your authority which is the right thing to do, even Islamically as it is obtained in Surah Al-Hadid.
People have abused your patience for too long and it is time for you to show that you are the governor of the state and anyone who wouldn’t adhere must be crushed. If it is war, we are already used to it and we are solidly behind you”.
The Emir further applauded the governor on his commitment to human development projects and infrastructure such as health, roads and capital empowerment particularly in the rural areas.
“We are proud of your government. We have been receiving positive feedbacks about your administration from different sections of the state.
I am using this medium to appeal on behalf of our business community on the need for you to represent them at the Federal Level for better opportunities and the actualization of their requests as presented”.
Furthermore, the Monarch commended the Federal Government for the approval of a modern rail line in the state which he expressed optimism will further contribute to economic activities in Kano.
