The newly assigned Comptroller for the Kano/Jigawa Customs Area Command, Compt. Sambo Kaliel Dangaladima, has assumed duty.
Sambo, a native of Bagudo, Kebbi state and a graduate of the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, is a seasoned customs officer with a vast experience having served in various units and commands all over the country.
He assume duty in the ancient city of Kano following a recent deployment of Comptrollers by the service.
Addressing officers of the command, the CAC disclosed that the Command is poised to conduct its assigned responsibilities with discipline at all levels and also ensure border security and seamless facilitation of legitimate trade, in tandem with the executive order on the ease of doing business.
Kaliel, assures that he will serve assiduously while increasing cooperation, collaboration, coordination and harmonious working relationships with all other sister security agencies and other relevant stakeholders.
According to the commands spokesperson, SC Saidu Nuruddeen Abdullahi, Dangaladima thanked the Comptroller General of Customs, Col Hameed Ibrahim Ali (Rtd) CFR and the entire management team for the opportunity to serve, as he restated his commitment to execute the core mandate of the Service by enforcing the policies of the Federal Government.
