The Gubernatorial Candidate of the New Democratic Congress (NDC) governorship candidate in Kano State for 2027, Comrade Aminu Abdussalam Gwarzo, has intensified calls for massive voter registration, urging Kano youths and women to take advantage of the Independent National Electoral Commission’s (INEC) online registration portal before the July 24, 2026 deadline.

In a statement issued on Saturday by his spokesperson, Ibrahim Garba Shuaibu, Gwarzo described the new online Continuous Voter Registration (CVR) platform as a game changer, saying it allows eligible Nigerians to begin their registration from the comfort of their homes using only their National Identification Number (NIN).

He said the introduction of the portal has removed the stress of long queues, insisting that no eligible voter should be left out of the democratic process ahead of the 2027 general elections.

“The PVC is your power. It is the weapon we have to bring about positive change for our families, our communities and Kano State. I urge our youth and women to register now, collect their PVCs and prepare to decide the future in 2027,” he declared.

Gwarzo also called on traditional institutions, religious leaders, youth groups and civil society organisations to mobilise citizens for mass registration, stressing that every eligible voter must seize the opportunity before the July 24 deadline.
