Hajj 2026: Kano Amirul Hajj Urges Teamwork, Commitment

The Amirul Hajj of Kano State and Emir of Gaya, Aliyu Ibrahim Abdulkadir, has charged all officials and operational committees participating in the 2026 Hajj exercise to intensify efforts toward ensuring a smooth and successful pilgrimage operation.

 

The Amirul Hajj gave the directive during a strategic meeting held at House Number One in Makkah on Sunday, where he stressed the importance of dedication, cooperation and collective responsibility among all workers engaged in the exercise.

 

According to Mustapha Muhammad, Head, Media Team, 2026 Hajj Operation, Kano, he said all personnel must remain committed and work tirelessly to achieve the objectives of the Hajj operation, noting that teamwork and unity are crucial to the effective coordination of pilgrims’ activities throughout the exercise.

 

Also speaking at the meeting, the Deputy Amirul Hajj and Emir of Karaye, Muhammad Mahraz Karaye, said the leadership’s major priority is to ensure the complete success of the 2026 Hajj operations for Kano State pilgrims.

 

He described the ongoing preparations for Mina and Arafat as the most critical stage and the backbone of the entire operation, urging all committees to strengthen collaboration and support one another in carrying out their responsibilities effectively.

 

The Deputy Amirul Hajj further directed all committees to prepare and submit detailed reports after Arafat for compilation into the main Hajj operational report, even as committee leaders assured the leadership of their readiness and commitment to delivering a hitch-free exercise.

 

The meeting ended with renewed commitment from all stakeholders to work in unity toward a successful 2026 Hajj operation for pilgrims from Kano State.
