Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State on Sunday distributed Ramadan package to staff of the Kano State Government House.
This is in fulfilment of his promise Saturday during Iftar (breaking of fast) with staff from various directorates within the State’s Government House.
The Governor had earlier recognised the crucial roles played by the staff in the daily operations of government activities hence the need for motivating them for enhanced productivity.
Gov. Abba tasked the staff to remain dedicated, steadfast, and industrious for the betterment and progress of the state.
During the grand grand occasion, hundreds of staff each benefited 50kg bag of rice, 1 carton of Macaroni 500g containing 20 packs, 1 bag of millet 25kg and cash gift of ₦10,000.
The Ramadan gesture package was extended to both civilian and security personnel serving in the House, a precedented gesture by the governor who has emphasized reward for hard work.
The gesture, is further aimed at cushioning the hard effects of the economy being experienced across the country.
Furthermore, it is a testament of the Governor’s resolve at empowering workers and ensuring a friendly working environment for them all.
