The Labour Party Chairman in Kano, Mohammed Abdullahi on Monday, blast members of the Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) sent to the state for undue interference.

This interference, according to the state chairman, has led to serious internal crisis in the state which if not tackled, could affect the unity of the Labour Party in Kano.

Abdullahi, during a press conference also stated that they reject the imposition of a non card carrying member as DG campaign describing the development unconstitutional.

He said, the LP in the state is quite aware of moves by some unpatriotic persons who are not genuinely members of the party, bent on causing disunity amongst it’s members which could lead to a set back in its hope of victory in the forthcoming elections.

That despite such moves to cause distractions, they remain committed and fully in support of Obi-Datti movement in Kano adding that, rather than causing trouble, those who insists on leaving should do so as it is they democratic right.

Mohammed charge members and supporters to ensure the actualization of the desired goal of delivering the needed 75 percent votes in Kano for the forthcoming general elections for all elective positions.
