The Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps Kano command is poised and ever ready to provide maximum security during and after the festive period in the State.
This was contained in a press relese issued by the Command’s spokesperson, DSC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, (CDPRO) on Friday in Kano.
According to him, the State Commandant of the Corps, Adamu Idris Zakari, fsi has approved the deployment of over 5000 regular officers and volunteers for a peaceful and hitch free Christmas and new year celebration.
He said, while the focus is to ensure safety of lives and protection of all critical national assets and infrastructure across nooks and crannies in the State, special attention will be paid and security coverage prioritized around strategic places particularly churches and recreational centres etc.
“The general public are hereby enjoined to celebrate responsibly and modestly as the Corps will never condone brazen breach of public peace”, he added.
