Journalists under the auspices of Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Freedom Radio Kano, branch has congratulated the newly elected national secretary of Nigeria Women Journalists (NAWOJ), Wasila Ladan and other elected Excos.
While congratulating her, the Chairperson of the group, Aisha Muhammad Yalleman, described Ladan’s emergence as the national secretary “well deserved” considering her dedication and foresight about female journalists wellcare across the country.
In the same vein, Yalleman also extends her felicitations to the newly elected national leader, Hajiya Aisha Ibrahim Bura while hoping that her leadership will will further unite women journalists in the country.
She further tasks the new Excos not to relent in training and retraining it’s members with skills so as to meet up with modern trends and best ways of practicing journalism.
