Sha’aban Unveils Blueprint, Prioritize Workers’ Welfare, Development

ADP Kano Gubernatorial Candidate, Hon. Sha’aban Ibrahim Sharada has promised a robust welfare package for workers in the state if elected governor.

He made the promise yesterday during the official unveiling of his blueprint ahead of the forthcoming gubernatorial election slated for next month.

According to him, his government will prioritize the welfare, dignity and integrity of both public and private workers in the state to promote harmony, economic prosperity and productivity.

To achieve this, Sharada noted that, a policy that ensures prompt payment of salary every 25th of every month after his fifth month in office will be implemented, which will also stop salary deductions, delays while ensuring pensions, gratuity and allowances are paid as at when due.

That his administration will also ensure, prompt promotion and introduce capacity development trainings within and outside the country for workers to boost their morale and productivity.

While presenting the four chapters blueprint, the Kano ADP Guber Candidate stated that it was designed to address political, socio- economic and infrastructural gap in the state.

That the main objective of the blueprint is to institutionalize inclusive governance, regulated by the law, people oriented policies, transparency and a countability.

He further added that his blueprint is designed in such a way that the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) are at the heart of it for the development of Kano as it seeks to achieve quality education, zero hunger and low poverty.

In the same vein, Ibrahim Sharada said the youth and women who constitute 77 percent of the electorates will benefit greatly from his government through human developmental projects and empowerment schemes.
