Super Eagles Captain, Ahmed Musa, has reportedly agreed on a deal to join Nigeria’s professional football league side, Kano Pillars.

A source disclosed to ACLsports the winger will join his former club ahead of the second stanza of the 2020-2021 Nigeria professional football league campaign.

Musa, 28, has been without a club since leaving Saudi Arabia’s premier league side Al Nassr in October 2020.

He was also close to signing with English side West Bromwich Albion in January, but the deal fell through due to his wages demand.

The deal is expected to be on a short-term basis as he’s expected to seek a new club in Europe when the transfer window opens in the Summer.

The 28-year-old is decided to agree to a deal with “Sai Masu Gida” in order to keep fit after people questioned his inclusion in the Super Eagles squad for last month’s African Cup of Nations qualifiers against the Benin Republic and Lesotho.

Musa has a very good relationship with Kano Pillars after his exploits in the 2009/2010 Nigerian league season when he scored eighteen goals to finish as the league’s top scorer.
