The Executive Governor of Kano State, Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf has charged commissioners in the state to live up to expectations.
The Governor made the call today while presiding over his maiden executive council meeting which took place at the African House, Kano State Government House, Kano.
He said, the commissioners’ appointments were based on merit, professionalism, previous performances and competency, urging them to be committed to their duties.
However, he warned that any commissioner who under-performed during the six months probation period will be pulled out while those who performs well will be appreciated.
Abba Kabir also added that progress recorded under all ministries in the state during this period shall be monitored and evaluated by him to ensure those put in-charge of the ministries are capable.
