The Chairman, New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP, Alh. Umar Haruna Doguwa has raised the alarm after men of the DSS laid siege on some of their campaign offices in Kano.
Doguwa also accused men of the Service of planting weapons at the two offices condoned off on Wednesday.
According to him, the offices of the Director for youth mobilization and that of Sport were condoned off where men of the DSS were seen moving in weapons which they later evacuated with the view to frame key members of the party.
“We woke up to a siege on our two directorates today by men of the DSS”.
“Unknown to them, some of our men captured them on video and still pictures”.
“We believe that this is not unconnected to the last incident between the wife of the DG, DSS, Aisha Bichi and our Gubernatorial Candidate, Abba Gida-Gida at Aminu Kano International Airport where she bragged of not allowing Abba of becoming a governor”.
“We want the to call the attention of the President, Muhammadu Buhari to this ugly incident and the whole election monitoring communities to be aware of this orchestrated move to frame us”.
“We are also aware that the state governor, Abdullahi Ganduje and his APC are working with the State Director of DSS in the state who should have retired over a year ago but was held back by Ganduje”.
“Let it be on record that we will not be intimidated nor accept a repeat of what happened in 2019”, he warned.
