The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Tajuddeen Abbas, has commended the Kano State Government for ongoing infrastructural development projects, describing them as a reflection of purposeful leadership and effective governance.

The commendation was conveyed through Hon. Usman Bello Kumo during an inspection of key projects across the state, where he noted that the National Assembly was impressed with the pace and quality of work being executed by the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf.

Kumo said the projects inspected, particularly roads and bridges, demonstrate prudent management of public resources and a commitment to improving the lives of citizens, adding that such investments would ease movement and stimulate economic activities.

He reaffirmed the readiness of the National Assembly to support policies and programmes that enhance the welfare of Nigerians, stressing that collaboration between federal and state governments remains vital for sustainable development.

In his remarks, Governor Yusuf disclosed that the Dan’agundi and Tal’udu interchange flyover projects would be completed next month.

The governor described the projects as landmark developments, adding that they would provide lasting solutions to congestion, improve mobility, and boost economic activities.
