The Director of Publicity, Kano Governor-Elect Campaign Council, Hisham Habib has advised the APC in the state not to waste its time at the tribunal, but allow the will of the people of the state to prevail.
Habib who spoke on Tuesday in Kano over the decision of the APC to challenge the victory of Engr. Abba Kabir Yusuf stated that the party is only making fool of its self before KANAWA who gave their mandate to NNPP and its Governor Elect for a better government that will alleviate the sufferings of the people.
“It is better the APC accept defeat and allow the will of Kano people to prevail”.
“Going before the tribunal is nothing but self-mockery. The people of Kano have rejected the APC and its gubernatorial candite, Dr. Nasir Yusuf Gawuna and his running mate, Hon. Murtal Sule Garo”.
” The mood in the state since Engr. Abba Yusuf’s declaration as winner of the gubernatorial election in Kano state is a clear indication that he is the one the people wanted”.
“I advised them not to make fool of themselves any further and allow the state to witness transformation and progress under the leadership of Abba Kabir”, he added.
Hisham, a strong member of the New Nigeria Peoples Party in Kano (NNPP) describes the emergence of Abba Kabir as the ‘Dawn of a New Era’ which will usher in progress and development which the people of the state yearn for.
He said, “This government will not relent in providing dividend of democracy to the people in terms of education, health, human development projects, infrastructure and commerce”.
“The Governor-Elect to achieve the above, has already set up various committees of experts working day and night at the moment to come up with strategies which will lead to the actualization of Engr. Yusuf’s good plans for the state”.
Comrade Hisham assured that the administration of Abba Gida-Gida will be an inclusive one which has special consideration for women, youth and those with special needs and will not forget the contribution of party members who contributed tremendously to the success of the party in the last election.
He charges all party members not enlisted into the various committees to remain calm, adding that their contributions are duly noted and shall not be in vain.
